"The huge ‘Job Factories’
of any nation’s economy – small enterprises –
are financially starved from starting or growing because entrepreneurs
have little or no access to Equity (investment) Capital. Hence
there is also limited access to Debt Capital (business loans)
because the entrepreneurs lack business assets to use for
collateral (no way to guarantee repayment). Most large corporations
are inhibited from entering the Philippine economy due to
skewed national policies which limit rational business managers
from investing in the country. |
